On Domain India DirectAdmin hosting, your email opens in Roundcube, a webmail application that runs in any browser with nothing to install. This guide gives the two webmail addresses that work on our DirectAdmin server, the way in from the DirectAdmin panel, the Roundcube settings that are different on DirectAdmin, and the fixes for the problems that stop people logging in.
Go to https://yourdomain.com/webmail or https://yourdomain.com/roundcube and log in with your full email address and the mailbox password. webmail.yourdomain.com does not exist on DirectAdmin hosting. If you can log in to DirectAdmin, open E-mail Manager and use the webmail (Roundcube) link there. On DirectAdmin, mail filters and the out-of-office reply are inside Roundcube under Settings.

1. Check that you have DirectAdmin hosting email
This guide is for mailboxes you created in DirectAdmin as part of a DirectAdmin hosting plan. Business Email is a separate Domain India product with its own webmail at https://mail.yourdomain.com:8443/, and none of the addresses below work for it. Not sure which one you have? Always type https://. If /webmail shows a "404 Not Found", your domain is probably pointing to another server; see the DirectAdmin webmail 404 guide.
3. Open webmail from DirectAdmin
If you manage the hosting account, you can reach webmail and reset mailbox passwords from the panel:
- Log in to DirectAdmin from your hosting service in the client area; see logging in to DirectAdmin.
- Open the E-mail Manager area.
- Use the webmail (Roundcube) link there to open webmail.
To set a new password for a mailbox, open E-mail Accounts in the same area, choose the address and change its password. To create mailboxes, see creating email accounts in DirectAdmin.
4. What Roundcube on DirectAdmin can do
We checked the Roundcube set-up on our DirectAdmin server in September 2026. It runs Roundcube 1.6 with the Elastic theme, which works on phones and tablets as well as computers. Compose, folders, contacts, identities, signatures and search work the same as on any Roundcube. A few settings are specific to DirectAdmin:

Deleted mail stays in Trash, and Spam keeps growing, until you empty them. Both count against the mailbox quota. When a mailbox is full, new mail bounces. See managing email quotas.
5. When webmail will not let you in

Each further attempt can extend the block. Also check for an old phone or laptop still trying the wrong password in the background, or it will trigger the block again. Chat with support or open a ticket, giving your domain and your public IP address.
6. Prefer a mail app?
Webmail is ideal on a shared or borrowed computer. For daily use, a mail app on your phone or computer is often quicker. Choose IMAP so the same mail shows in the app and in Roundcube; see IMAP vs POP3. Server names and ports are in email server details and port numbers.
7. Email on Domain India DirectAdmin hosting
