Business Email vs the Email Included With Your Hosting
If you have just bought Business Email, this is the first article to read. It explains what you have, and — just as importantly — which of our other email guides do not apply to you.
The short version

They are separate products on separate servers. Nothing in a cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk or Webuzo email guide applies to Business Email.
Why this matters immediately
Most of our existing email articles were written for hosting-bundled mailboxes. If you search our knowledge base for "webmail" you will find guides to Roundcube, cPanel and DirectAdmin. Those are correct articles — for a different product. Follow them with a Business Email mailbox and the steps will simply fail, usually at the login screen.
Business Email articles are the ones that name mail.yourdomain.com and port 8443. If a guide does not mention those, it is not about your mailbox.
What you actually got
Your own hostname. Your mailbox lives at mail.yourdomain.com. Our name never appears in your mail client, your MX records or your SPF record. Your staff and your customers only ever see your domain.
A dedicated mail platform, not a web server sideline. Mail bundled with shared hosting runs on the machine serving your website. It shares that machine's reputation, its load and its outages. Business Email does not.
Signed mail from day one. Every message you send is DKIM-signed with two algorithms (RSA and Ed25519), and we supply the SPF and DMARC records for your domain when we set you up. Deliverability is the usual reason people move off a shared-hosting mailbox, and it is configured from the start rather than sold as an add-on.
Open standards, so you are never locked in. IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, CardDAV and JMAP. Your mail, calendar and contacts can be exported and taken elsewhere at any time.
Per-mailbox pricing. ₹60 per mailbox per month, starting at a single mailbox. There is no tier to outgrow and no bundled allowance you pay for and never use.
Large attachments. Up to 100 MB per message when sending through a mail client — roughly four times Gmail's 25 MB limit. Uploads through webmail are capped a little lower, at 50 MB.
What it is not
We would rather you know this now than discover it later.
- It is not an office suite. There are no documents, spreadsheets or video meetings. If you need those, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 are the right products and cost roughly ₹136–145 per user.
- There is no POP3. Business Email is IMAP-only. See the client setup guide.
- We do not publish an uptime SLA for this platform.
- The mail servers are in the EU, not in India. If your organisation has a data-residency requirement, raise it with us before you buy.
