On Domain India DirectAdmin hosting, webmail opens at https://yourdomain.com/webmail or https://yourdomain.com/roundcube. Both paths load Roundcube on our servers, so a "404 Not Found" almost always means the address or the domain's DNS is the problem, not a missing redirect. There is nothing to configure in your panel to fix it.

Use https://yourdomain.com/webmail or https://yourdomain.com/roundcube and log in with your full email address and the mailbox password. webmail.yourdomain.com does not exist on DirectAdmin hosting, so it fails. If both paths give a 404, your domain is probably not pointing to our server yet: check its DNS, or open a ticket with the exact address you typed.

2. Why you might still see a 404
- Check for typos.The path is
/webmailor/roundcube, with nothing after it. Remove any extra folder or file name, and try the other path. - Check where your domain points.If your website is hosted somewhere else, or DNS was changed recently,
yourdomain.com/webmailreaches that other server, which has no webmail and answers 404. Look up your domain's A record (for example withdig A yourdomain.com +short) and compare it with the server IP on the Access tab in the client area (Hosting › My hosting › Manage › Access). - Check a proxy or CDN.If your domain runs through a proxy service, the
/webmailpath may be handled by the proxy rather than passed to our server. Test the other path, or ask support for the server address to use. - Clear the browser's cache.A browser can keep an old 404 page. Try a private window.
If the domain points elsewhere on purpose, open DirectAdmin with the one-click button in the client area and use the webmail (Roundcube) link inside the panel; see logging in to DirectAdmin from the client area. If webmail, your website and DirectAdmin all stop loading together from one network but work on mobile data, the server firewall may have blocked your IP address after failed logins. Stop retrying and read have I been blocked?.
3. Running your own DirectAdmin server?
Some guides tell server administrators to add a redirect in Custom HTTPD Configurations and restart Apache. That applies only to a DirectAdmin server you run yourself, such as on your own VPS; on Domain India shared hosting you cannot change the server's web configuration, and do not need to.
On your own server, /webmail and /roundcube are aliases that DirectAdmin's CustomBuild writes into the web server configuration. If they return 404, check that Roundcube is installed through CustomBuild, then have CustomBuild regenerate the web server configuration (./build rewrite_confs in the CustomBuild directory) rather than hand-editing a redirect that the next rebuild can overwrite. DirectAdmin's own documentation covers the options.

What is the webmail address on Domain India DirectAdmin hosting?

Why does webmail.yourdomain.com not work on DirectAdmin hosting?
That address does not exist on Domain India DirectAdmin hosting. Use yourdomain.com/webmail or yourdomain.com/roundcube instead.
Why do I get a 404 on /webmail even though the address is right?
Usually your domain is pointing to a different server, such as another website host, which has no webmail. Check that your domain's A record matches the server IP on the Access tab of your hosting in the client area.
Do I need to add a redirect in DirectAdmin to fix a webmail 404?
No. On Domain India shared hosting both webmail paths already work, and you cannot change the server's web configuration. Redirect fixes apply only to a DirectAdmin server you run yourself.
