Managing Your Domains

The {{COMPANY_NAME}} client area provides a centralised dashboard for managing all your registered domains.

Accessing Domain Management

1. Log in to your {{COMPANY_NAME}} client area
2. Go to My Domains
3. Click on any domain to see its full management options

Domain Settings You Can Manage

Nameservers

• View and change nameservers to point your domain to any hosting provider
• Use {{COMPANY_NAME}} default nameservers for hosting with us, or set custom nameservers for external hosting or Cloudflare

DNS Records (if using {{COMPANY_NAME}} nameservers)

• Add, edit, or delete DNS records: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS
• Common uses: pointing to hosting, setting up email (MX records), verifying domain ownership (TXT records), setting up subdomains (A/CNAME)

Domain Lock (Registrar Lock)

• Enable to prevent unauthorised domain transfers
• Disable only when you need to transfer the domain to another registrar

WHOIS Privacy Protection

• Hides your personal contact details from public WHOIS lookups
• Not required for .in domains (NIXI redacts personal data by default)

EPP/Auth Code

• Required for transferring your domain to another registrar
• Generate or view from the domain management page

Auto-Renewal

• Enable to receive automatic renewal invoices before expiry
• Disable if you do not want to renew the domain

Contact Information

• Update registrant, admin, tech, and billing contacts
• Keep this information accurate — it is required by ICANN/NIXI

Renewal and Expiry

• Check the Expiry Date on the domain management page
• Renew early to avoid accidental expiry and potential loss of the domain
• Expired domains enter a grace period → redemption period → deletion
• Renew for multiple years for important domains
