  2. Find Transfer Lock in the overview section

Unlock Your Domain

You need to unlock before transferring out:

  1. Go to domain details page
  2. Click Unlock Domain
  3. Status changes to "Unlocked"

Lock Your Domain

After a transfer or if you want protection:

  1. Go to domain details page

Important

  • Keep your domain LOCKED unless you are transferring it
  • Unlocking does not affect website or email functionality
  • Some new domains have a 60-day lock after registration (ICANN policy)
