ℹ️ This guide is for the email included with your hosting plan (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk or Webuzo). It does not apply to Business Email, which runs on a separate platform and has its own webmail at mail.yourdomain.com:8443. Not sure which you have? Email Not Receiving

Quick Checks

  1. Check webmail: Login at yourdomain.com/webmail — if emails are there, the issue is your email client settings
  2. Check spam/junk folder: Emails may be filtered
  3. Check storage: If mailbox is full, new emails are rejected

Common Causes and Fixes

MX Records Not Pointing Correctly

  • Your domain MX records must point to your hosting server
  • Check in cPanel > Email Deliverability or DNS Zone Editor
  • MX should point to: mail.yourdomain.com (priority 0)

Mailbox Full

  • Check quota in cPanel > Email Accounts
  • Increase quota or delete old emails

Email Being Rejected

  • Check cPanel > Track Delivery for bounce messages
  • Common: sender IP blacklisted, SPF fail, DMARC reject

Domain Not Pointed to Server

  • If domain DNS was recently changed, wait for propagation (up to 48 hours)
