Email Not Receiving
Quick Checks
- Check webmail: Login at yourdomain.com/webmail — if emails are there, the issue is your email client settings
- Check spam/junk folder: Emails may be filtered
- Check storage: If mailbox is full, new emails are rejected
Common Causes and Fixes
MX Records Not Pointing Correctly
- Your domain MX records must point to your hosting server
- Check in cPanel > Email Deliverability or DNS Zone Editor
- MX should point to: mail.yourdomain.com (priority 0)
Mailbox Full
- Check quota in cPanel > Email Accounts
- Increase quota or delete old emails
Email Being Rejected
- Check cPanel > Track Delivery for bounce messages
- Common: sender IP blacklisted, SPF fail, DMARC reject
Domain Not Pointed to Server
- If domain DNS was recently changed, wait for propagation (up to 48 hours)
