2. What to count before you choose
Plans differ mainly in how many websites, email accounts, databases and how much storage they allow. Count these before you order:
- Websites. Each extra domain with its own site needs a slot. Subdomains such as
shop.yourdomain.comare added in the same account. - Email accounts. Count everyone who needs
[email protected], plus shared addresses such as sales@ and info@. - Storage. Photos, videos, backups you keep in the account, and email all use it.
- Databases. WordPress and most PHP apps use one each.
- Technology. PHP and WordPress run on Linux hosting (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Webuzo). Only ASP.NET or MSSQL sites need Windows hosting.

3. Which control panel?
All three Linux panels run WordPress and PHP sites. cPanel is the most widely used, with the most tutorials, and has both Softaculous and WP Toolkit on our servers. 4. Busy sites and online shops
A traffic spike or a slow shop is usually fixed by caching and trimming plugins before it needs a bigger plan. 5. What every shared plan includes
Every cPanel, DirectAdmin and Webuzo plan includes free SSL, email accounts at your domain, and backups: weekly on cPanel and DirectAdmin, nightly on Webuzo (Domain India sells no separate backup add-on). Jailed SSH access is available on every shared plan; it is off by default, so ask support to enable it. Most hosting accounts are created automatically within a couple of minutes of payment; a small number need a manual check and take longer.
