Yes, you can host more than one domain in a single Domain India hosting account, as long as your plan allows more than one website. The Starter plans host one website; the Growth and Business plans host several, each with its own folder, email addresses and free SSL. You can host more than one website in one account on Domain India's Growth and Business plans: 5 websites on cPanel Growth and DA Growth, and 25 on cPanel Business and DA Business. Starter plans host one website. Extra names that show the same site (aliases) and subdomains such as blog.yourdomain.com do not count as extra websites. If you need more sites later, you can upgrade the same account without moving anything.
1. How many websites each plan allows

On Webuzo hosting, Webuzo Starter hosts 1 website and Webuzo Developer 5. A 1-website plan runs your main domain only. To run a second, separate website, you need a plan that allows more.

2. What counts as a website
Only one of the three kinds of extra name uses up your website count.

So a Starter plan can still answer for yourbrand.in and yourbrand.co.in together (one as an alias), and can run blog.yourbrand.in as a subdomain. 3. How to add a second website
In current cPanel, you add every kind of domain from one page.
- Open cPanel.In the client area, open your hosting services and click the cPanel button on your domain's row. See How to log in to cPanel for other routes.
- Open Domains.In the Domains section, click Domains, then Create A New Domain.
- Enter the new domainand untick Share document root, so the new site gets its own folder.
- Submit, then upload your files to that folder or install WordPress into it.
On DirectAdmin and Webuzo the idea is the same: you add another domain to the account and it gets its own folder. In DirectAdmin, open Account Manager › Domains; the add button only shows when your plan's domain limit allows another domain, so if it is missing, ask support. In Webuzo, open Domain › Add Addon Domain.
4. Point each domain at your hosting
Adding a domain in the panel only prepares the server. Visitors reach the new website only when that domain's DNS points to your hosting account. Your hosting service page in the client area has a Point a domain to this hosting card with the two ways to do it:
- Hosting nameservers: set the domain's nameservers to the ones on the card. This suits a domain whose website and email are both with us.
- A records: keep your current DNS and add A records for
@andwwwwith the server IP on the card.
Step-by-step help is in How do I change my nameservers. DNS changes can take several hours to reach every network. The free SSL certificate for the new domain is issued once its DNS points to the server.
5. All your websites share one plan
Every website in the account draws on the same plan: the same disk space, email account limit, databases and the same CPU and memory allowance. Two things follow:
- A busy site can slow the others. If one website gets a traffic spike or runs a heavy plugin, the other sites in the account feel it.
- Mailboxes and databases are shared out. A Growth plan's 10 MySQL databases are for all five websites together, not ten each.
If one site is much busier than the rest, consider giving it its own plan.
6. When you need more websites
You can move to a bigger plan at any time without moving your sites. An active cPanel or DirectAdmin account is upgraded from the client area: open your hosting service and choose Change plan. You pay only the difference for the time left until your renewal date, plus 18% GST. Webuzo and Windows customers should contact support before changing plan. Frequently asked questions
Can I host more than one domain on one Domain India hosting plan?
Yes, on plans that allow more than one website. cPanel Growth and DA Growth host 5 websites, and cPanel Business and DA Business host 25. Starter plans host one website.
Does a parked domain or alias count as a website?
No. An alias, the old parked domain, shows the same site as your main domain and does not use up your website count. Only a separate website with its own folder, an addon domain, counts.
Do subdomains count towards my website limit?
No. A subdomain such as blog.yourdomain.com belongs to a domain you already have and is not counted as an extra website. If the panel refuses to add one, contact support to check your plan's limits.
Can I host my clients' websites on my own plan?
You can technically add them as addon domains, but every site then shares one account, one login and one set of resources. If you build websites for clients, reseller hosting gives each client their own separate account.
Can each website have its own email addresses?
Yes. Each addon domain can have its own mailboxes, such as [email protected]. They count towards your plan's total email account limit.
How do I get more websites on my plan?
Upgrade the same account from the client area: open your hosting service and choose Change plan. You pay only the difference for the time left until renewal, plus 18% GST, and your sites stay where they are.
My new domain is added but the website does not open. Why?
Usually the domain does not point to your hosting yet. Set its nameservers, or add A records, using the values on the Point a domain to this hosting card in the client area, and allow several hours for DNS to update.
