Your hosting account is ready, but your website only appears once the domain points to the hosting server. Every Domain India hosting service shows exactly what to use on a card called Point a domain to this hosting. This page explains the two options on that card and which one to choose.
Open your hosting service in the client area and find the Point a domain to this hosting card on the Overview tab. Option 1 lists the nameservers: enter them on the domain's Nameservers tab (or at your other registrar). Option 2 gives the server IP: add A records for @ and www wherever your DNS is managed today. Copy the values from the card, never from an old article. Changes usually take effect within a few hours and can take up to 24-48 hours.

1. Find the card
- Sign inand open your hosting list.
- Select the hosting servicefor your domain. It opens on the Overview tab.
- Find "Point a domain to this hosting".It shows Option 1 · Nameservers and Option 2 · A records, each with a copy button.
The card appears once the hosting account is active. If your service still shows "Setting up your account" or "Payment required", finish that first. The same nameservers are also in your hosting welcome email.
2. Which option should I use?

Nameservers move all of your DNS, including email, to the hosting server. That is the simplest choice when everything lives on this hosting. If your email is elsewhere, the A records route changes only the website and leaves the rest alone.
3. Option 1: change the nameservers
Domain registered with Domain India: open your domains, select the domain, open the Nameservers tab, click Edit, paste the nameservers from the card, one per field, and click Save. If the tab already shows those nameservers, there is nothing to change.
Domain registered elsewhere: sign in at that registrar and change the nameservers there. Nameservers are always changed at the registrar, not at the hosting company.
Type the hostnames exactly as the card shows them, with no http:// and no trailing dot.
4. Option 2: add A records
Add two A records wherever your DNS is managed today:

Delete any older A or AAAA records for @ and www, or visitors may still reach the old server. If www is a CNAME today, replace it with the A record. For record-level help, see How to change your domain DNS settings.
Point the domain with the nameservers or A records from the card. Don't switch the domain to Free DNS in the client area to connect it to your hosting.
5. After you point the domain
- Wait for DNS. A change usually takes effect within a few hours and can take up to 24-48 hours to reach every network. See Understanding DNS propagation.
- Free SSL follows. Once the domain points to the server, a free certificate is issued: AutoSSL on cPanel checks every 3 hours, and Let's Encrypt on DirectAdmin. If the padlock still hasn't appeared a day after DNS is correct, open a ticket.

Once the domain points to the hosting server, the free certificate is issued automatically. On cPanel, AutoSSL checks every 3 hours. If it is still missing a day after DNS is correct, open a ticket.
