If your website is on Domain India DirectAdmin hosting, you open the control panel on port 2222, read mail in a browser at /webmail on your own domain, and set up mail apps on the secure ports 993 (IMAP), 995 (POP3) and 465 (SMTP). This page lists every port that is open on our DirectAdmin servers and the ones that are not, so you can fix a connection that times out.

2. Webmail on DirectAdmin: use the path, not a port
Older guides list ports 2095 and 2096 for webmail. Those are cPanel webmail ports and do not apply to DirectAdmin hosting. On DirectAdmin, open webmail at a path on your own domain:

Both open Roundcube. There is no webmail.yourdomain.com address on DirectAdmin hosting. Log in with the full email address and the mailbox password. Step-by-step instructions are in How to log in to webmail.
3. The two ports people get wrong
Some older guides say SSH runs on 2222. On Domain India servers, 2222 is the DirectAdmin control panel, and an SSH client pointed at it will fail. SSH and SFTP use port 22.
SSH and SFTP on port 22. Jailed SSH is available on every shared hosting plan (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Webuzo). It is off by default; ask support to enable it for your account. Logins use an SSH key, not a password. See enabling and accessing jailed SSH.
MySQL on port 3306 is closed from the internet. Your website reaches its database over localhost and is not affected. From your own computer, use phpMyAdmin in DirectAdmin, or an SSH tunnel over port 22 once SSH is enabled. The full method is in How to connect to the MySQL database.
4. If a port will not connect
- Check the port and encryption pair against the table above. A wrong pair fails instantly or complains about the certificate.
- Test on mobile data. If it works there but not at the office, your network blocks the port; ask your IT team to allow it.
- Check for an IP block. Repeated failed logins, often from a phone with an old saved password, block your IP automatically. See I can't reach my server: have I been blocked?
To test a port from Windows PowerShell, run Test-NetConnection yourdomain.com -Port 2222. On macOS or Linux, run nc -zv yourdomain.com 2222.
