How to Close Your Account

If you no longer need your {{COMPANY_NAME}} services, you can request account closure. Please read through this guide carefully before proceeding.

Before Closing Your Account

Back up your data:

  • Download all website files via FTP/SFTP or File Manager
  • Export databases from phpMyAdmin
  • Download emails using an email client (IMAP syncs locally) or Webmail export
  • Download any invoices you need from Billing → Invoices

Check active services:

  • Review all active domains — ensure you transfer them to another registrar before closure, or they will expire
  • Cancel any auto-renewal on domains you do not wish to keep
  • Note any services with remaining paid time — refunds may be available depending on the terms

How to Request Account Closure

  1. Log in to your {{COMPANY_NAME}} client area
  2. Go to My Services
  3. For each service you want to cancel, click on it and select Request Cancellation
  4. Choose cancellation type:

- Immediate — service is terminated right away

- End of billing period — service remains active until the current paid period ends

  1. Provide a reason (optional but helpful)
  2. Confirm the cancellation

Cancelling Domains

Domains cannot be "cancelled" in the same way as hosting:

  • Transfer away: Unlock the domain, get the EPP code, and transfer to another registrar before account closure
  • Let expire: If you do not need the domain, simply do not renew it. It will expire at the end of its registration period
  • Domain refunds are not available after the 5-day grace period post-registration

Important Notes

  • Account closure is permanent — all data (files, databases, emails) will be deleted and cannot be recovered
  • Outstanding invoices must be resolved before closure
  • If you want to keep your domains but cancel hosting, you can do that — domains and hosting are separate services
  • There is no fee for closing your account

Refund Policy

  • Hosting cancellations within the first 30 days may be eligible for a refund — check {{COMPANY_NAME}} Terms of Service
  • Domain registration fees are non-refundable after the grace period
  • Add-on services (SSL, backups, etc.) follow their own refund terms
