File Manager

Accessing File Manager

1. Login to cPanel
2. Click File Manager
3. Navigate to public_html (your website root)

Common Tasks

Upload Files

1. Open public_html folder
2. Click Upload in the toolbar
3. Drag and drop files or click Select File
4. Wait for upload to complete

Edit Files

1. Select a file
2. Click Edit in the toolbar
3. Make changes and click Save

Create New File or Folder

Click + File or + Folder in the toolbar

Delete Files

Select file(s) and click Delete. Files go to Trash (recoverable).

Show Hidden Files

Settings (top right) > Check "Show Hidden Files" to see .htaccess and other dot files

Important

• Website files go in public_html
• Do not delete system files outside public_html
• Maximum file upload size depends on your PHP settings
