Webuzo hosting is Domain India's lowest-cost Linux shared hosting with a simple control panel and the Softaculous one-click app installer. This guide lists the three Webuzo plans with their live prices and limits, explains what the panel does, and is honest about where Webuzo is a weaker fit than our cPanel or DirectAdmin hosting, so you can choose the right plan before you buy.
Webuzo plans cost ₹100, ₹200 and ₹350 a month (Starter, Developer, Agency), for 1, 5 or 50 websites. Each includes the Webuzo panel, Softaculous, email accounts, MySQL databases and free SSL. Our Webuzo server runs PHP 8.0 and 8.1 only, and Domain India backs up every account every night, with restores through support. For a new site that needs a current PHP version or self-service backups, choose cPanel or DirectAdmin instead.
1. What Webuzo is
Webuzo is a web hosting control panel made by the company behind Softaculous. On shared hosting, it gives you your own account on the server and a browser-based panel for your websites: domains, files, email, databases, SSL and apps. The web server is Apache, and .htaccess files, including mod_rewrite rules, work as they do on our other Linux hosting.
If you have used cPanel, the ideas are the same; only the layout and menu names differ. Menu names also change between Webuzo versions, so our Webuzo guides describe each task by what it does rather than by an exact menu path.

How to choose: Starter is enough for one small site, such as a brochure site or a blog. Developer fits a handful of sites or a business that needs more mailboxes. Agency is for someone running many small sites for clients.
3. What every plan includes
- Webuzo control panel for domains, subdomains, files, email and databases.
- Softaculous, the one-click installer for WordPress and hundreds of other scripts. It creates the database for you.
- Email on your domain. Create mailboxes in the panel and read mail in a browser at
https://yourdomain.com/webmail, which opens Webuzo Email. There is nowebmail.yourdomain.comaddress on Webuzo hosting. - MySQL databases with phpMyAdmin.
- Free SSL. Free SSL certificates are included with almost all Domain India hosting, including Webuzo. Domain India sells no paid SSL certificates; if you bought one elsewhere, it can be installed.
- File Manager and FTP for uploading your site.
- Jailed SSH on request. Jailed SSH access is available on every shared hosting plan (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Webuzo). It is off by default; ask support to enable it for your account, then log in with an SSH key. It is a restricted shell, and the tools inside it vary, so ask support before you rely on one.
4. Things to know before you choose Webuzo
Our Webuzo server offers PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1. Both have reached end of life and no longer receive security fixes from the PHP project. Apps that need PHP 8.2 or newer, including some current Softaculous scripts and frameworks, will not install or run there. Check your app's PHP requirement first, and ask support if you are unsure.
Domain India backs up every Webuzo account every night to a separate backup server, covering website files, email, databases, Webuzo account settings and DNS zones. To restore something, open a support ticket saying what to restore and from which date. There is no separate backup add-on to buy. Keeping your own copy before any big change, such as a WordPress or theme update, is good practice too.
A few more differences from our cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting:
- Logging in. The Webuzo button in the client area opens the Webuzo login page; you then enter your Webuzo username and password. It does not sign you in automatically.
- Forgotten password. The client area's Reset password button does not work for Webuzo accounts yet. Contact support and we will reset it.
- Node.js and Python apps. The Webuzo server has no Node.js or Python app selector. For a Node.js app, the App Platform detects it automatically; other stacks run there from your own Dockerfile.
- Developer tools. Shared hosting is not the place for Composer builds or long-running processes. Build dependencies on your own computer and upload them, or use the App Platform or a VPS.
5. Getting started
- Order a planfrom the Webuzo hosting page, with a new domain or one you already own.
- Pay the invoice.Most hosting accounts are created automatically within a couple of minutes of payment; a small number need a manual check and take longer.
- Find your login details.In the client area, open Hosting › My hosting, click Manage and open the Access tab for your username, server IP and panel URL.
- Open Webuzowith the Webuzo button on your account's row and sign in.
