Buying your first hosting plan from Domain India takes a few minutes: create an account, choose the hosting type and a plan, add or choose a domain, and pay. Most hosting accounts are then created automatically within a couple of minutes, and your login details arrive by email.

Sign in (or sign up at /register), open Order New in the client area and follow the steps: Service, Domain, Plan, Nameservers, Review, then Proceed to Payment. At the Domain step, choose Register new for a new name or Use existing for one you already own. After payment, most accounts are ready within a couple of minutes; the welcome email "Your Hosting Account is Ready" has your login details, and the same details are on the service's page in the client area.

2. Create your account
New to Domain India? Sign up at /register, or use Continue with Google, and confirm your email with the 6-digit code we send. Use an address you check often: invoices, renewal reminders and login details all go there.
3. Place the order
- Open Order New.In the client area, open Order New, or click through from a plan on a hosting page.
- Choose the service.Pick the hosting type, for example cPanel hosting.
- Choose the domain.Register new adds a new domain to the same order, Transfer brings a domain from another registrar, and Use existing is for a domain you already own, here or elsewhere. Type it without
wwworhttps://. - Choose the plan and billing cycle.Monthly, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years; the page shows the saving on longer cycles.
- Nameservers.For a new domain, keep the default unless you already use another DNS provider. With Use existing this step is skipped.
- Review and pay.Check the plan, domain and total including GST, click Proceed to Payment and pay with any method offered on the payment page.
There is no coupon or promo code field, and there are no paid backup or SSL add-ons to pick: free SSL and weekly backups on cPanel and DirectAdmin come with the plan.
4. What happens after payment
- The invoice is marked paid under Invoices, where you can download the tax invoice.
- The hosting account is created. Most accounts are created automatically within a couple of minutes of payment. A small number need a manual check and take longer, for example while a payment is still clearing or when an order is flagged for review.

5. Your first steps on the new hosting

How long does it take for my hosting account to be ready?
Most hosting accounts are created automatically within a couple of minutes of payment. A small number need a manual check and take longer, for example while a payment is still clearing or when an order is flagged for review.
Do I need to buy a domain with my hosting?
No. At the Domain step choose Use existing and type a domain you already own, whether it is registered with Domain India or with another company. Then point it at the hosting once the account is ready.
Can I use a promo code or coupon?
No. Domain India has no coupon or promo code field at checkout. Longer billing cycles show their saving on the order page.
Will my card be charged automatically when the plan renews?
No. Domain India never charges a saved card. A renewal invoice is emailed before the due date, and the service renews only when you pay it.
Can I get a refund if hosting is not right for me?
New shared hosting purchases can be refunded in full within 30 days under the refund policy. Renewals and domain registrations are not refundable.
