Email Notification Preferences

Domain India sends email notifications for important account events. You can manage which notifications you receive from your client area settings.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. Log in to your Domain India client area
  2. Go to My Account → Settings → Notifications (or Profile → Email Preferences)
  3. Review and toggle the notification types you want to receive

Types of Notifications

Billing & Invoices

  • New invoice generated
  • Payment confirmation / receipt
  • Payment failure or overdue reminders
  • Upcoming renewal reminders (sent before expiry)

Domain Notifications

  • Domain registration confirmation
  • Domain renewal reminders (30 days, 7 days, 1 day before expiry)
  • Domain transfer status updates
  • Domain expiry warning

Hosting & Services

  • Service activation confirmation
  • Service suspension or termination notices
  • Resource usage warnings (disk, bandwidth)
  • Scheduled maintenance notifications

Support

  • New support ticket confirmation
  • Ticket reply notifications
  • Ticket closure notifications

Security

  • Login from a new device or location
  • Password change confirmation
  • Two-factor authentication changes

We strongly recommend keeping these notifications enabled:

  • Invoice and payment notifications — so you never miss a payment and avoid service interruption
  • Domain renewal reminders — domains that expire without renewal enter a redemption period with additional fees
  • Security alerts — to detect unauthorised access quickly
  • Support ticket replies — so you can respond promptly and resolve issues faster

Important Notes

  • Some notifications (e.g., legal notices, Terms of Service updates) cannot be disabled as they are required by ICANN or Indian regulations
  • Renewal reminders are sent automatically — ensure your registered email address is current
  • If you are not receiving any emails from Domain India, check your spam folder and whitelist domainindia.com in your email client
  • To update your contact email address, go to My Account → Settings → Profile
