Every Domain India renewal works the same way: we send you a renewal invoice before the due date, and the service renews when you pay it. Nothing is charged to a card on its own, so no payment means no renewal. This page shows where to see what is due, how to pay, how to stop a renewal and what happens if you miss one.

Open the Renewals page in the client area to see every service, its expiry date and its renewal price. A renewal invoice is generated up to 30 days before the due date and emailed to you; pay it from Invoices and the due date moves forward. Domain India never charges a saved card, so an unpaid invoice means the service expires. A .in domain can be renewed at the normal price up to day 36 after expiry; from day 37, restoring it costs ₹4,000 including the renewal.
1. See what is due
The Renewals page (Billing › Renewals, at /client/renewals) lists each hosting plan and domain with its expiry date, its renewal price and whether renewal invoices are on. Your domains' own pages under Domains also show a renewal card with the expiry date.
2. How a renewal is paid
- Wait for the invoice, or act early.A renewal invoice is generated up to 30 days before the due date, emailed to the address on your account and listed under Invoices. Reminders follow while it is unpaid.
- Open the unpaid invoice.Check the service, the period and the amount including GST.
- Click Pay Nowand choose a payment method on the payment page. You choose the method each time; no card is saved or charged later.
- Check the service.Once payment is recorded, the next due date moves forward by the period you paid for.
A domain can also be renewed at any time, for several years at once: open the domain, click Renew, choose the years and pay. The new years are added to the current expiry date, so renewing early costs nothing. The first-year price of a promotion does not carry over; the invoice shows the current renewal price.
Domain India does not renew anything on credit and never takes money from a card by itself. If the renewal invoice is not paid, the service is not renewed, whatever the renewal switch says. Keep the email on your account current and check spam in a renewal month.
3. Stop a renewal you don't want
You may decline a renewal at no penalty before you pay. On the Renewals page, choose Don't renew for the service and confirm, or switch renewal invoices off on the domain's page, or simply leave the invoice unpaid. The service keeps working until its expiry date. Renewals are non-refundable, so decline before paying rather than asking for a refund afterwards.
4. If a service lapses

Prices are Domain India list prices, excluding 18% GST. The grace period for .com and other generic extensions varies, so ask support for your domain's exact date. If a site or mailbox is still down a little while after you pay, open a ticket with the invoice number.
Where can I see all my upcoming renewals?
On the Renewals page in the Domain India client area, under Billing. It lists each hosting plan and domain with its expiry date, its renewal price and whether renewal invoices are on.
Does Domain India renew my services automatically?
No. Domain India generates a renewal invoice up to 30 days before the due date and emails it to you. The service renews only when that invoice is paid; no saved card is ever charged.
How do I stop a service from renewing?
Choose Don't renew for it on the Renewals page, switch renewal invoices off on the domain's page, or leave the invoice unpaid. Declining before payment carries no penalty, and the service works until its expiry date.
What happens if I miss a .in domain renewal?
The domain stops working at expiry. It can still be renewed at the normal price up to day 36 after expiry. From day 37 it can only be restored, for ₹4,000 including the renewal, excluding 18% GST.
Can I get a refund on a renewal I paid?
No. Renewals are non-refundable under the refund policy, and a domain renewal cannot be reversed once processed at the registry.
