Managing Renewals
Keep your domains and hosting services active by managing renewals on time. {{COMPANY_NAME}} sends multiple reminders before expiry, but it is best to stay on top of your renewal schedule.
Checking Renewal Dates
- Log in to your {{COMPANY_NAME}} client area
- Go to My Services for hosting renewals or My Domains for domain renewals
- Each service shows its next due date or expiry date
- The dashboard may also show upcoming renewals
How to Renew
Manual Renewal:
- Go to My Services or My Domains
- Click on the service or domain to renew
- Click Renew and select the renewal period (1 year, 2 years, etc.)
- An invoice is generated — complete payment via your preferred method
- The renewal is processed immediately upon payment
Auto-Renewal:
- Enable auto-renewal from the service or domain management page
- Invoices are generated automatically before the due date
- Payment is processed using your saved payment method or requires manual payment of the invoice
Renewal Reminders
{{COMPANY_NAME}} sends email reminders at:
- 30 days before expiry
- 7 days before expiry
- 1 day before expiry
- On the day of expiry (if not yet renewed)
What Happens If You Don't Renew
Hosting Services:
- Service is suspended on the due date — website goes offline
- Data is retained for a grace period (typically 7–14 days)
- After the grace period, the account and all data are permanently deleted
Domains:
- Domain enters expired status — website and email may stop working
- A grace period (typically 30 days) allows renewal at normal rates
- After grace, the domain enters redemption period — renewal is possible but with a significant additional fee
- After redemption, the domain is deleted and becomes available for anyone to register
Tips
- Renew domains for multiple years to avoid accidental expiry
- Keep your contact email address current so you receive renewal reminders
- Set calendar reminders for important domain renewals
- Pay invoices promptly — unpaid invoices can lead to service suspension
- If you missed a renewal and your service was suspended, contact {{COMPANY_NAME}} support at {{SUPPORT_URL}} immediately for reinstatement options
