Changing Your Password

Keep your account secure by updating your password regularly. You can change your password at any time from the client portal.

How to Change Your Password

  1. Log in to {{SUPPORT_URL}}
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner and select My Account
  3. Navigate to the Security Settings or Change Password section
  4. Enter your current password in the first field
  5. Enter your new password in the next field
  6. Confirm the new password by typing it again
  7. Click Save Changes

You will see a confirmation message once the password has been updated. Your existing sessions will remain active.

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters in length
  • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • At least one number (0-9)
  • At least one special character (e.g. !@#$%^&*)

What If You Forgot Your Current Password?

If you cannot remember your current password and are logged out:

  1. Go to the login page at {{SUPPORT_URL}}
  2. Click Forgot Password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password

The reset link expires after 1 hour. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder.

Security Tips

  • Never reuse passwords across different websites or services
  • Use a password manager (such as Bitwarden, 1Password, or the built-in browser password manager) to generate and store strong passwords
  • Change your password immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an additional layer of security beyond your password
  • Avoid sharing your password over email, chat, or phone — {{COMPANY_NAME}} staff will never ask for your password

Updating Passwords for Other Services

This article covers your {{COMPANY_NAME}} billing portal password only. For other passwords:

  • cPanel password — Reset from cPanel login page or from your hosting service details in the portal
  • Email account password — Change from cPanel > Email Accounts
  • Domain registrar password — Managed separately if using a third-party registrar
