Changing Your Password
Keep your account secure by updating your password regularly. You can change your password at any time from the client portal.
How to Change Your Password
- Log in to {{SUPPORT_URL}}
- Click your name in the top-right corner and select My Account
- Navigate to the Security Settings or Change Password section
- Enter your current password in the first field
- Enter your new password in the next field
- Confirm the new password by typing it again
- Click Save Changes
You will see a confirmation message once the password has been updated. Your existing sessions will remain active.
Password Requirements
Your new password must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters in length
- At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- At least one number (0-9)
- At least one special character (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
What If You Forgot Your Current Password?
If you cannot remember your current password and are logged out:
- Go to the login page at {{SUPPORT_URL}}
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Check your inbox for a password reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
The reset link expires after 1 hour. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder.
Security Tips
- Never reuse passwords across different websites or services
- Use a password manager (such as Bitwarden, 1Password, or the built-in browser password manager) to generate and store strong passwords
- Change your password immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an additional layer of security beyond your password
- Avoid sharing your password over email, chat, or phone — {{COMPANY_NAME}} staff will never ask for your password
Updating Passwords for Other Services
This article covers your {{COMPANY_NAME}} billing portal password only. For other passwords:
- cPanel password — Reset from cPanel login page or from your hosting service details in the portal
- Email account password — Change from cPanel > Email Accounts
- Domain registrar password — Managed separately if using a third-party registrar
