Uploading Screenshots in Chat
When reporting an issue via live chat or support tickets, sharing a screenshot helps our team understand your problem quickly and resolve it faster. Here is how to capture and upload screenshots.
How to Take a Screenshot
On Windows
- Select a region: Press Windows + Shift + S — draw a rectangle around the area to capture
- Full screen: Press PrtSc (Print Screen) — copies entire screen to clipboard
On Mac
- Select a region: Press Cmd + Shift + 4 — drag to select an area
- Full screen: Press Cmd + Shift + 3 — saves to Desktop
On Phone
- iPhone: Press Side button + Volume Up simultaneously
- Android: Press Power + Volume Down simultaneously
Uploading a Screenshot in Live Chat
- Open the live chat widget on {{SUPPORT_URL}}
- Click the attachment icon (paperclip or image icon) in the chat input area
- Select the screenshot file from your device
- The file will upload and a preview will appear in the chat
- Add any additional context in the text message and press Send
Attaching Screenshots to a Support Ticket
- Go to Support > Open Ticket or reply to an existing ticket
- Click the Attach File button or drag and drop your screenshot into the message area
- You can attach multiple files at once
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PDF
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per attachment
- Write your message describing the issue and click Submit or Reply
Tips for Effective Screenshots
- Capture the full error message — include the complete text, not just a portion
- Include the URL bar when showing a website issue — helps us identify which page is affected
- Avoid sensitive information — blur or crop out passwords and personal details before uploading
- File too large? — Crop to show only the relevant area, or compress the image
