How to Set Up Email on Windows Mail App

ℹ️ This guide is for the email included with your hosting plan (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk or Webuzo). It does not apply to Business Email, which runs on a separate platform and has its own webmail at mail.yourdomain.com:8443. Not sure which you have? How to Set Up Email on Windows Mail App

Configure your Domain India email in the built-in Windows Mail app (available on Windows 10 and 11).

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Open the Mail app from the Start menu.
2. Click Settings (gear icon) > Manage Accounts > Add Account.
3. Select Other Account (POP, IMAP).
4. Enter:
   • Email address: your full email ([email protected])
   • Username: your full email address
   • Password: your email password
5. Click Sign In.

If automatic configuration works, you are done. If not:

6. Select Advanced Setup > Internet email.
7. Enter:
   • Account name: a label (e.g., "Work Email")
   • Your name: display name for sent emails
   • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Account type: IMAP4
   • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Username: full email address
   • Password: your email password
8. Check all security options (SSL required for incoming and outgoing).
9. Click Sign In.

Troubleshooting

Cannot Sign In

• Use full email address as username.
• Verify password is correct.
• Try manual setup with explicit server settings.

Email Not Syncing

• Go to Settings > Manage Accounts > click your account.
• Click Change mailbox sync settings.
• Set sync frequency and ensure email sync is ON.
