You can pay any Domain India invoice online with UPI, net banking, a debit or credit card, or a bank transfer. Everything starts from the invoice in your client area: open it, choose a payment method, and complete the payment on the secure page that opens. This guide walks through each method and explains what to do if a payment does not go through.
Go to Invoices in the client area (/client/invoices), open the unpaid invoice and click Pay Now. On the Select Payment Method page, choose Razorpay for UPI, net banking, cards or wallets, or Atom Pay for net banking, UPI or Indian cards. Tick the terms box and click Pay. Stripe and PayPal are also offered, and Bank Transfer shows our account details for a manual payment. The invoice changes from Payment Due to Payment Received once the payment is confirmed.
1. The payment methods you will see
When we checked on 24 September 2026, the payment page offered these options. The list you see comes from the methods enabled at that moment, so it can change.
| Option on the payment page | What it says | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Razorpay | Pay with Card, UPI, NetBanking, Wallet | Most customers in India: UPI, cards and net banking in one pop-up |
| Atom Pay | Pay with NetBanking, UPI, Cards (India) | A second Indian route if Razorpay does not work for your bank or card |
| Stripe | Pay with Credit/Debit Card | Cards, including cards issued outside India |
| PayPal | Pay with PayPal account | A PayPal balance or a card linked to PayPal |
| Bank Transfer | Direct bank transfer (Manual verification) | NEFT, RTGS or IMPS from your bank, confirmed by our team |
The footer of our website lists Visa, Mastercard, UPI and NetBanking. Whether a particular card type or wallet works depends on the gateway and your bank, and the gateway's own screen shows what it accepts.
2. Open the invoice and choose how to pay
- Log in to the client area.Sign in at domainindia.com and open Invoices. Unpaid invoices have a Pay button in the list.
- Open the invoice.Click the invoice, check the amount and items, then click Pay Now.
- Select a payment method. The Select Payment Method page shows the total and one card per payment option. Click the one you want.
- Accept the terms.Tick the box that says you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Pay.Click the button that shows the amount, for example Pay ₹ followed by your invoice total. For Bank Transfer the button reads Get Bank Details instead.
If you need a GST invoice in your company's name, add your GSTIN before you pay. It is under GST information on your profile (/client/profile) or in billing settings (/client/settings/billing). See how to get a GST invoice.
3. Paying by UPI
Choose Razorpay (or Atom Pay) and click Pay. A secure checkout window opens on top of the page.
- Pick UPI in the checkout.
- On a computer, scan the QR code with any UPI app, such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM, or enter your UPI ID if the checkout offers that option. On a phone, you can usually pick your UPI app directly.
- Check the amount and the payee name in your UPI app, then approve with your UPI PIN.
- Keep the checkout window open until it confirms the payment. You are then taken back to the invoice.
Check that you typed the UPI ID correctly and that your UPI app is up to date, or scan the QR code instead. If the checkout times out, close it and click Pay again; an unfinished attempt does not charge you.
4. Paying by net banking
- Choose Razorpay or Atom Pay and click Pay.
- Select Net Banking and pick your bank from the list, or search for it.
- You are sent to your bank's own login page. Sign in, check the amount, and approve with the OTP or other check your bank asks for.
- The bank returns you to Domain India, and the invoice shows the result.
Your net banking must be activated for online payments. If your bank's page does not load, wait a few minutes and try again, or use UPI or a card.
5. Paying by debit or credit card
- Choose Razorpay (or Atom Pay for Indian cards) and click Pay.
- Select Card and enter the card number, expiry date, CVV and the name on the card.
- Complete your bank's verification, usually an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Wait for the confirmation, then you return to the invoice.
Many Indian banks require online use to be switched on for a card first, usually in the bank's app. For a card issued outside India, Stripe is also available. If a gateway processes the payment in a currency other than rupees, the payment page shows a currency-conversion notice with the rate before you pay, and your bank may add its own foreign-transaction charges.
6. Paying by bank transfer
Choose Bank Transfer and click Get Bank Details. The page shows the account name, account number, IFSC code, bank name, branch, the amount and a Reference ID.
- Send the exact amount from your bank by NEFT, RTGS or IMPS.
- Put the Reference ID in the transfer's remarks, so we can match the payment to your invoice.
- Keep the transaction reference (UTR) from your bank.
Bank transfers are confirmed by hand, so the invoice does not change to Payment Received the moment you send the money. If it still shows Payment Due the next working day, open a ticket with the UTR.
7. After you pay
When a card, UPI or net banking payment succeeds, you are taken back to the invoice. Its status changes from Payment Due (or Payment Overdue) to Payment Received, with the Paid On date and the Transaction ID. With Razorpay this usually happens within a minute or two. The Payments page in the client area (/client/payments) lists every payment with its date, invoice, gateway and transaction reference, and you can download the invoice from Invoices at any time. Invoices for customers in Tamil Nadu show CGST and SGST; customers elsewhere in India are charged IGST.
Paying a renewal invoice renews the service. Paying an invoice for a new order starts the setup: most hosting accounts are created automatically within a couple of minutes of payment, and a small number need a manual check and take longer.
Domain India never charges a saved card automatically. For renewals, we generate an invoice up to 30 days before the due date and email it to you; the service renews only when you pay that invoice. See how auto-renewal works.
8. When a payment fails or the invoice still shows Payment Due
| What happened | What to do |
|---|---|
| The checkout closed before you paid | Nothing was charged. Click Pay again |
| Money left your account but the invoice still shows Payment Due | Do not pay again straight away. Wait a few minutes and reload the invoice: the gateway usually confirms the payment to us on its own |
| Still Payment Due after that | Open a ticket with the invoice number, the date, the amount and the UPI or bank reference |
| The payment failed and money was debited | Failed payments are normally reversed to your account by your bank or the gateway; the timing depends on your bank |
| Card declined | Check the card details, the online-use setting and your limit, or try UPI or net banking |
| OTP not received | Wait a minute and use Resend, and check that your bank has your current mobile number |
| You paid the same invoice twice | Open a ticket straight away with both payment references |

Frequently asked questions
Can I pay my Domain India invoice with UPI?
Yes. Open the invoice in the client area, click Pay Now, choose Razorpay or Atom Pay, and select UPI in the checkout. Scan the QR code or use your UPI app, then approve the payment with your UPI PIN.
Which payment methods does Domain India accept?
UPI, net banking, and debit and credit cards through Razorpay or Atom Pay, cards through Stripe, PayPal, and bank transfer. The payment page shows the methods available when you pay.
Why does the payment page show a currency-conversion notice?
The selected gateway processes payments in a currency other than rupees. The page shows the converted amount and the exchange rate before you pay, and your bank may add foreign-transaction charges. To avoid conversion, choose an option that shows no conversion notice.
Does Domain India save my card and charge it automatically?
No. Domain India never charges a saved card automatically. Renewal invoices are emailed up to 30 days before the due date, and a service renews only when you pay its invoice.
Money was debited but my invoice still shows Payment Due. What should I do?
Wait a few minutes and reload the invoice, because the gateway usually confirms the payment on its own; with Razorpay this normally takes a minute or two. If it still shows Payment Due, open a support ticket with the invoice number and the UPI or bank reference instead of paying again.
How long does a bank transfer take to show as paid?
Bank transfers are checked by hand, so they are not instant. Include the Reference ID shown on the Bank Transfer page in your transfer remarks, and open a ticket with the UTR if the invoice still shows Payment Due the next working day.
How do I get my GSTIN on the invoice?
Add your GSTIN under GST information on your profile or in billing settings in the client area before you pay. Customers in Tamil Nadu are charged CGST and SGST, and customers in other states are charged IGST.
