They run on the same servers with the same software and security; what changes between them is how much storage you get, how many websites you can host, and how many mailboxes and databases you can create. DA Starter costs ₹100 a month for one website with 10 GB of NVMe storage. DA Growth, ₹150 a month, hosts 5 websites with 30 GB and unmetered bandwidth. DA Business, ₹300 a month, hosts 25 websites with 100 GB. All three include free SSL, weekly JetBackup backups, Softaculous and CloudLinux isolation. Pick by the number of websites and mailboxes you need, and upgrade later if you outgrow the plan.

A few things shared hosting can't do on any plan: risky PHP functions such as exec and proc_open are disabled, so Composer can't run on the server (build locally and upload the vendor/ folder); there is no Redis; and the default PHP max_execution_time is 30 seconds. 4. Choosing the right plan
DA Starter (₹100/month): one website. Right for a single business website, a blog or a landing page with a few mailboxes. 10 GB is plenty for a typical WordPress site with its images. The 50 GB monthly bandwidth suits a small site; if you expect heavy traffic or large downloads, start with Growth.
DA Growth (₹150/month): up to five websites. Right when you run more than one site, such as a company site plus a shop or a separate brand, or when a team needs more than five mailboxes. Bandwidth is unmetered and you get 50 email accounts and 10 databases.
DA Business (₹300/month): up to 25 websites. Right for a freelancer or small agency hosting client sites, or a business with many mailboxes. 100 GB of storage, 250 email accounts and 50 databases leave room to grow.
Each WordPress site normally needs its own database, and each person needs a mailbox. Two sites and eight staff mailboxes already rule out Starter. Count what you need today, then leave some headroom.
5. Upgrading later
You don't have to guess right the first time. An active DirectAdmin plan can be upgraded at any time from the client area: open your hosting service and choose Change plan. You pay only the difference for the time left until your renewal date, plus GST, and the plan changes once that invoice is paid. Moving to a smaller plan is scheduled for your renewal date. A plan change stays within DirectAdmin. Moving to cPanel, Windows hosting or a VPS is a migration to a new account.
6. DirectAdmin or another panel?

If you need root access, Docker or your own server software, shared hosting isn't the right fit: look at a VPS instead.
7. Where Domain India fits
