1. What you get
The AI Website Builder is a website designer and a host for that one website. It is not full web hosting.
The AI Website Builder hosts your AI website only. It has no email inboxes, no databases and no room for other apps or websites. For email, add Business Email or choose a hosting plan that includes email accounts.
2. Before you start
Ten minutes of preparation saves hours of editing:
- Business name, category and city. This is all the AI needs for a first draft.
- A phone number and email address for the contact section.
- Your own photos of the shop, team, products or work. Uploading your own photos and logo is free on every plan.
- A domain name, if you want to publish on your own address. You can build and preview without one. Search at domain registration, or try the free AI Domain Advisor for name ideas.
3. Step 1: start free
- Open the builder page.Go to the AI Website Builder page and click Start Free.
- Sign up or log in.New customers fill in a short sign-up form. Existing Domain India customers log in with their usual account.
- Describe your business.Enter your business name and pick a category, or type your own, however niche. Add your city, phone number and email so the AI can fill in the contact section.
- Generate.In about a minute the AI builds the whole site: text, design and pages.
The free plan, as the live pricing card states it: ₹0, 1 site, full AI website generation, live preview on a free link, edit your site by chat, no credit card required, upgrade anytime to publish.
4. Step 2: preview your site
Your new site opens on a free preview link. It works on any device, so you can check it on your phone and share it with a partner before you pay anything. The preview is not shown to search engines until you publish.
To come back later, log in and open AI Website Builder in the client area. Your sites are listed there; open one to keep editing.
5. Step 3: edit your content
The editor opens on a chat box, which is the fastest way to change anything. Type what you want, the way you would tell a colleague:
- "Change the headline to focus on same-day appointments."
- "Add a services section for bridal makeup."
- "Add a menu page."
- "Make the tone more premium."
You review every change before it goes live. You can also click any text in the preview and edit it directly.
The AI writes a strong first draft, but it does not know your business. Check prices, opening hours, phone numbers, years in business and any ratings or numbers, and correct anything that is not true.
6. Step 4: design, logo and photos
- Templates, colours and fonts. Choose from 18 templates, any colour and 8 fonts. Your content stays in place when you switch, and you can reorder homepage sections with simple arrows.
- Logo. Upload your own on any plan. On paid plans, AI Logo Studio can generate one, icon-only or with your business name, with brand colours matched automatically. A wide (rectangular) logo suits the site header best.
- Photos. Upload your own on any plan. Paid plans can also generate images matched to your industry, and Pro and Business add real stock photos.
- Undo. Every version of your content is saved, along with snapshots of the published site, so you can go back to an earlier version in one click.
7. Step 5: add features that bring customers
Most of these are added by asking in the chat:
- Sell on WhatsApp and UPI. Add a shop or menu with prices; each item gets an Order-on-WhatsApp button, and a UPI Pay button once you save your UPI ID.
- Appointment bookings. Set your services, hours and closed days; visitors pick a time slot.
- AI blog. Type a topic and the AI writes the post, with the page, navigation and sitemap added automatically.
- Indian languages. Translate the whole site into up to two of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi, with a language switcher for visitors.
- SEO and analytics. Meta tags, sitemap, schema markup and per-page titles are generated for you; built-in visitor analytics need no setup, and you can connect Google Analytics.
- Map and reviews. A Google map with one-tap directions, and a Google rating section.

8. Step 6: publish and connect your domain
- Choose a plan.Click Publish and pick Starter, Pro or Business. Every paid plan includes publishing, hosting for the builder site, a custom domain and free SSL.
- Publish.The preview banner disappears and search engines can find your site.
- Connect your domain.In the editor's settings, enter your domain. The editor shows the exact DNS record to add.
- Add the record.Add it wherever your domain's DNS is managed today: your hosting control panel's zone editor if the domain uses our hosting nameservers, or the DNS settings at your registrar or DNS provider. Not sure which? Ask support.
- Wait for DNS.Once the record takes effect, the domain is verified and SSL is issued automatically.
