Your AI website can sell products with a proper online shop: products with photos, sizes and stock, orders and customers, coupons, GST invoices, and payments by UPI, cash on delivery or your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. The Online Shop is a paid app that you add from the editor's Apps tab. This guide shows how to add it, what each plan includes, and where you manage your shop afterwards.
Open your site in the AI Website Builder, click the Apps tab, and choose Online Shop → Add. Pick Shop Basic (₹299 a month) or Shop Pro (₹699 a month), type your shop name, click Continue to payment and pay the invoice. The shop is set up as soon as the invoice is paid, usually in a few minutes. Then click Open shop admin to add products and turn on payments. Prices exclude GST.
Before you start
- Your website needs a paid plan (Starter, Pro or Business). On the free trial, the Apps tab asks you to choose a website plan first.
- The account owner buys apps. Team members cannot buy an app for the account.
- One shop per website. A restaurant menu is the same app, so a website has either an Online Shop or a Restaurant. You can add a bookings app to the same website as well.

Prices are Domain India list prices, billed monthly, excluding GST. You can move between Basic and Pro later: see Upgrade or cancel an app plan.
Add the shop
- Open your website.Log in, go to AI Website Builder in the client area and open your site in the editor.
- Open the Apps tab.Under Add to your website, find Online Shop and click Add.
- Choose a plan.Compare Basic and Pro, then click Choose Basic or Choose Pro. Nothing is chosen for you.
- Name your shop.Type the Shop name your buyers will see.
- Pay.Click Continue to payment and pay the invoice that opens.
- Wait for set-up.Back in the Apps tab, your shop's card shows its progress: Paid, Creating app, Installing, Final checks. This usually takes a few minutes, and the page updates by itself.
If you started an order for this website and did not pay it, the Apps tab takes you to that same invoice instead of raising a second one.
Manage your shop in the shop admin
When the card shows Open, click Open shop admin. It opens your shop's own admin with a one-time sign-in link. The admin has three tabs and a More menu:
- Orders — new and past orders.
- Products — add products with photos, sizes, prices and stock.
- Customers — the people who have ordered from you.
- More — Shop settings (shop open, cash on delivery, UPI, shipping, GST), Online payments (your Razorpay or Cashfree account), Coupons, Sales, Team (invite staff and choose what they can do), Activity, Export my shop and 2-step login.
Card and net-banking payments use your own Razorpay or Cashfree account, set up under More → Online payments. The keys are stored in your shop admin only, never in the website editor.
When buyers can order
Your website shows your shop once it is set up. Buyers can order while your website is published; if your site is still a private draft, you can set up products and payments in the shop admin, and the shop opens to buyers when you publish. See Your draft is private: preview and publish.
The Online Shop and the built-in order buttons
Every AI website can also show simple Order on WhatsApp and UPI Pay buttons on its own Shop or Menu sections, set up under Apps → Payments in the editor. Those buttons are separate from the Online Shop's payments. The Online Shop adds what they cannot do: stock, coupons, GST invoices, staff logins and your own payment gateway.

Can I add an online shop on the free trial?
No. Apps run on websites with a paid plan. Choose a website plan first, then add the Online Shop from the Apps tab.
How much does the Online Shop cost?
Shop Basic is ₹299 a month and Shop Pro is ₹699 a month, excluding GST. This is in addition to your website plan.
How long does set-up take?
It starts as soon as the invoice is paid and usually takes a few minutes. The Apps tab shows each step and updates by itself.
Which payment methods can my buyers use?
UPI and cash on delivery, and cards or net banking through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account, which you connect in the shop admin.
Can one website have a shop and bookings?
