The Domain India affiliate programme pays you a commission when someone you refer creates a new Domain India account and makes their first purchase. You join free from your client area, get a personal referral link, and follow sign-ups and commission on your affiliate dashboard. This guide explains how referrals are tracked, what earns commission, and the rules that keep a referral valid.
Sign in, open Account › Affiliate in the client area and join. Share your referral link: a visitor who arrives through it and creates a new account within 90 days, in the same browser, is credited to you, and you earn commission on that customer's first purchase only. Shared and reseller hosting earns up to 15%, VPS 10% and domain registrations 2%. Self-referrals and refunded sales earn nothing. Payouts are requested from the dashboard under the terms on the Affiliate Program page.
1. How the programme works
- Join.Sign in to the client area, open Account › Affiliate (or go to /client/affiliate) and join the programme. Joining is free.
- Get your link.Your dashboard shows your referral code and your referral link.
- Share it.Put the link on your website, blog, YouTube channel or newsletter, or send it to people who asked you for a recommendation.
- A visitor signs up.When someone arrives through your link and creates a new Domain India account, that account is recorded as your referral.
- They buy.Their first paid order earns you a commission, which appears on your dashboard as pending.
- You request a payout.Once your balance meets the minimum, request a payout from the dashboard.
The programme is open to main account holders. Team members added to someone else's account (sub-accounts) cannot join; the account owner can.
2. Your referral link and the 90-day cookie
Your link looks like https://domainindia.com/?ref=YOURCODE, using the code shown on your dashboard. The ?ref=YOURCODE part works on other pages too, so you can link straight to the page you are recommending, for example https://domainindia.com/hosting/cpanel?ref=YOURCODE.
When someone opens your link, the website stores your code in a cookie in their browser for 90 days (checked on 24 September 2026). Keep these points in mind:
- The same browser. The cookie lives in the browser that clicked. If the person clicks on their phone and signs up later on a laptop, the referral is not recorded.
- New accounts only. The referral is attached when the visitor creates their account. Someone who already has a Domain India account cannot become your referral.
- The latest link wins. If the visitor later clicks another affiliate's link, the newer code replaces yours.
- Cleared cookies. If the visitor clears cookies or uses a private window, the referral is lost.
The most reliable referral is one where the person clicks your link and creates their account in the same session, even if they buy later.
3. What earns commission
Commission is paid on the referred customer's first purchase only. Renewals, and later orders by the same customer, do not earn further commission. Rates depend on the product, as published on the Affiliate Program page on 24 September 2026:

Your dashboard shows your enrolled rate. Products that are not in this table earn no commission, so ask support before you build a campaign around any other product. Rates are reviewed from time to time and may change; the Affiliate Program page is the current reference.
4. The rules that keep a referral valid
These rules come from the programme terms. A referral that breaks them earns nothing, and repeated abuse can close your affiliate account.
Refunds reverse commission. Commission is held for a review period that covers the refund window. If the referred customer is refunded, the commission for that sale is reversed and removed from your balance.

5. Tracking your earnings
Your affiliate dashboard at /client/affiliate shows:
- your referral code and referral link;
- your commission rate, total sign-ups and this month's activity;
- your total earned and your available balance;
- recent referrals, with the date, status and commission for each.
A new referral appears once the person creates their account and completes a paid first order. A click alone does not create a referral.
6. Requesting a payout
When your balance reaches the minimum payout, use the payout option on your dashboard. The request opens a ticket with our Billing team, which you can follow under Support in the client area.
The minimum payout, the payout schedule and the payment method (bank transfer or UPI to an account in your own name) are set out in the terms on the Affiliate Program page. If the amount shown on your dashboard and the published terms seem to differ, ask on your payout ticket and support will confirm what applies.
Payouts are made only to a bank or UPI account in the affiliate's own name. Third-party or proxy accounts are not accepted, so make sure your client-area name matches your bank details.
7. Where to share your link
The affiliates who earn are the ones who recommend Domain India to people who genuinely need a domain or hosting:
- Web designers and developers: put your link where clients read about hosting, for example your "how we build your site" page.
- Bloggers and YouTubers: link from a tutorial that walks through a real setup, such as registering a .in domain or installing WordPress.
- Communities: answer the question someone actually asked, and share your link where the forum's rules allow it.
Be honest about what the products do. A visitor who buys the wrong plan asks for a refund, and a refund reverses your commission.
How do I join the Domain India affiliate programme?
Sign in to the client area, open Account and then Affiliate, or go to domainindia.com/client/affiliate, and join. It is free, and your referral link appears on the dashboard straight away.
How long does a referral last after someone clicks my link?
The referral cookie lasts 90 days in the browser that clicked the link. The person must create a new Domain India account in that browser within 90 days, and a later click on another affiliate's link replaces yours.
Do I earn commission on renewals?
No. Commission is paid on the referred customer's first purchase only. Renewals and later orders by the same customer do not earn further commission.
How much commission can I earn?
Shared and reseller hosting earns up to 15%, VPS and cloud servers 10%, and domain registrations and transfers 2%, as published on the Affiliate Program page. Products not in that list earn no commission.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No. Self-referrals, referrals from your household or staff, and sign-ups from the same IP address or device as your affiliate click are disqualified.
What happens if my referral asks for a refund?
The commission for that sale is reversed and removed from your balance. Commission is held for a review period that covers the refund window for this reason.
How do I get paid?
Request a payout from your affiliate dashboard once your balance reaches the minimum. The request opens a Billing ticket, and payment goes to a bank or UPI account in your own name under the published programme terms.
Can a team member on my account join the programme?
No. Sub-accounts cannot join. The main account holder can join from their own client area.
