Billing at Domain India runs on invoices. You pay an invoice when you order, a renewal invoice arrives before each service is due, and the service renews only when you pay it. Nothing is ever charged to a card automatically. This page gives the short version and links to the full guide for each part.

Every order and renewal creates an invoice under Invoices in the client area. Renewal invoices are generated up to 30 days before the due date, and you pay each one yourself by UPI, net banking, card, PayPal or bank transfer. Prices exclude 18% GST, which is added on the invoice. Domain India never charges a saved card automatically; an unpaid renewal simply lets the service lapse.
1. The billing cycle in four steps
- You order.Checkout creates an invoice, and the service is set up once it is paid.
- A renewal invoice arrives.Before the due date, up to 30 days ahead of it, a renewal invoice appears under Invoices and is emailed to the address on your account.
- You pay it.Open the invoice, click Pay Now and choose a payment option. The next due date moves forward once payment is confirmed.
- Or you let it go.If you don't want the service any more, leave the invoice unpaid, or use Don't renew on the Renewals page. There is no penalty for declining a renewal.
2. How to pay
The payment page offers Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets), Atom Pay (net banking, UPI and Indian cards), Stripe (cards), PayPal, and Bank Transfer. Card, UPI and net banking payments usually show as Payment Received within a couple of minutes. Bank transfers are checked by hand, so they are not instant. 3. What the invoice statuses mean

There is no separate "pending" status. If you paid and the invoice still shows Payment Due, don't pay again; see what to do if payment shows pending.
4. If a renewal goes unpaid

5. GST and tax invoices
Prices on the website exclude GST; 18% GST is added on the invoice, as CGST plus SGST in Tamil Nadu and IGST elsewhere. An unpaid invoice is a proforma, a request for payment. Once paid, Download Tax Invoice gives you the GST tax invoice for your accounts. To have your GSTIN on it, add it under GST information on your Profile before you pay. Does Domain India charge my card automatically for renewals?
No. Domain India never charges a saved card automatically. A renewal invoice is generated up to 30 days before the due date, and the service renews only when you pay it.
Where do I see and pay my invoices?
In the client area under Invoices. Open an unpaid invoice, click Pay Now and choose UPI, net banking, card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Are Domain India prices inclusive of GST?

What happens if I don't pay a renewal invoice?
The service is not renewed. A domain expires on its expiry date; hosting is suspended a week after the due date and can be deleted about a fortnight later.
How do I stop a service from renewing?
Use Don't renew on the Renewals page in the client area, or leave the renewal invoice unpaid. The service stays active until its expiry date.
