1. Introduction


Domain Registration India Private Limited ("Domain India") operates www.domainindia.com. These terms govern domain registration, web hosting, VPS hosting, SSL certificates, and related products.


2. Service Overview


  • **Domain Services:** Registration and renewal of .IN, .COM, and 600+ global TLDs
  • **Web Hosting:** Shared, Business & VPS (Linux/Windows options)
  • **Security:** SSL certificates and full DNS management tools
  • **Web Development:** Custom site design, SEO-optimized content, email setup

  • 3. Account Registration


  • Users must be at least 18 years old
  • Registration requires accurate, updated, and truthful information
  • Users are responsible for maintaining login credential confidentiality
  • Users are responsible for all account activities

  • 4. Payment & Billing


  • Advance payment is mandatory for all services
  • Pricing for our services may be revised from time to time to reflect underlying costs including foreign exchange rates, vendor licence fees, infrastructure costs, and tax / duty changes. The current pricing for any service is displayed on our public pricing page and on each renewal invoice. The price shown on your renewal invoice constitutes notice of the applicable rate; payment of the invoice constitutes acceptance. You may decline a renewal at any time before payment without penalty by allowing the service to expire or by raising a support ticket. We do not undertake to provide separate prior notice of price changes beyond the renewal invoice itself.
  • Non-payment results in service suspension or termination
  • Expired domains risk permanent deletion
  • **Auto-Renewal Disclaimer:** We do not perform auto-renewals by default. Clients must manually renew. Services are subject to deletion if expired.

  • 5. Goods and Services Tax (GST) for International Customers


    All invoices are issued inclusive of 18% GST as required under the Indian Goods and Services Tax Act, regardless of the billing-address country.


    For services supplied to customers with a foreign billing address, GST refund may be available under the export-of-services provisions of the IGST Act, subject to all of the following conditions:


  • Payment is received by us as convertible foreign currency inward remittance to our SWIFT-enabled bank account, with a Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC / eFIRC) issued by our Authorised Dealer bank.
  • A service charge is applicable for FIRC issuance and refund processing, communicated at the time of request.
  • Payments received via Indian payment rails (UPI, domestic cards, INR-settled wallets, INR-settled PayPal, Razorpay-INR, Stripe-INR) do not qualify for FIRC and therefore are not eligible for GST refund regardless of the billing-address country, as a structural rule under Section 2(6) IGST Act.

  • To pursue GST refund on a specific invoice, please pay that invoice via foreign-currency wire transfer to our account and request an FIRC + refund through a support ticket. Bulk wires covering multiple invoices in one remittance are accepted and result in a single FIRC against the batch.

    Refunds issued to original payment method only. Refunds are net of any third-party vendor costs already incurred for the partial period used (control-panel licences, anti-virus / WAF licences, backup retention, domain registration / renewal, SSL certificates). Domain registration is non-refundable in any case once registered at the registry.


    7. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)


    Prohibited activities include:

  • Malware, viruses, phishing, or illegal content
  • Spamming or bulk unsolicited emails
  • Copyright or trademark infringement
  • Deceptive advertising or fraud
  • Adult/pornographic content hosting
  • Cryptocurrency mining without permission
  • DDoS attacks or hacking attempts
  • Unauthorized service reselling

  • Violations result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.


    8. Uptime & Support


  • Target uptime: 99.9% with redundant infrastructure
  • Support via ticketing system, email, live chat, and WhatsApp. We do not provide telephone / callback support.
  • VPS Plans: Semi-managed unless full management explicitly purchased

  • 9. Domain Policy Compliance


  • ICANN regulations for gTLDs (.com, .net, .org)
  • NIXI/INRegistry rules for .IN domains
  • Registry-specific dispute resolution policies (UDRP/INDRP)

  • 10. .IN Domain KYC/e-KYC Requirements


    Domain India is NIXI-accredited and mandated to collect, verify, and retain KYC documents for .IN registrations.


    Applicable domains: .IN, .CO.IN, .ORG.IN, .NET.IN, .FIRM.IN, .GEN.IN, .IND.IN


    Indian Registrants: Aadhaar Card (via DigiLocker preferred), PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Certificate of Incorporation with signatory ID.


    Foreign Registrants: Passport (mandatory), government-issued photo ID, declaration connecting registrant to India.


    Submission deadline: 7 calendar days from registration. Non-compliance leads to domain suspension (SERVERHOLD status).


    11. Suspension & Termination


    Services suspended or terminated for:

  • Terms or AUP violations
  • Legal obligations, abuse reports, or fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment or chargeback attempts

  • No refunds apply for breach-related termination.


    12. Limitation of Liability


    Domain India is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum liability is limited to total amounts paid over the preceding 12 months.


    13. Force Majeure


    Not liable for delays or failures from causes beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, power outages, ISP failures, cyberattacks, regulatory changes, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or labor strikes.


    14. Dispute Resolution


  • Governed by Tamil Nadu, India laws
  • Arbitration under the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act
  • Jurisdiction: Courts in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu

  • 15. Data Protection


    Compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Personal data is:

  • Never sold or rented
  • Used only for service delivery, support, and legal compliance
  • Stored securely with restricted access
